Kookaburra Cafe – A Gringo Hangout in Cuenca

Posted in: Cuenca Ecuador, Ecuador Food, Living in Ecuador

Kookaburra CafeOne of our favorite Cafes here in Cuenca is the Kookaburra.  Chris and Jen are super friendly, and they don’t mind adjusting orders according to food sensitivities, or allergies.  They are from Australia, so they speak English, and they greet us by name whenever we drop by.

The Cafe is conveniently located on Calle Larga, one of the main streets in the city.  When visiting the center it’s never a far walk.

This Cafe is a popular hangout for English speaking Gringos, so if  you want to make some connections, or just enjoy a tasty treat,  drop by the Kookaburra.
