Update (October 2015): This product is no longer available.

I just finished watching the Live or Retire Overseas: Granada Nicaragua DVD. Granada is one of the top choices for expats because of its low cost of living and warm climate.

Learn about living in Granada, Nicaragua

One of the difficulties in moving abroad is choosing where you will relocate to. There are so many choices!

dvd-granada-nicaraguaTraveling can be expensive so if you can gather enough information about a specific place before you visit, you could get a pretty good idea if the place is right for or not. Anything that can help narrow down the choices and save on travel expenses is helpful.

This DVD was put together very well. If you are interested in visiting Granada to see if it might work for your relocation – I think it would be worth taking a look at.

Talking With Expats Living in Granada, Nicaragua

This DVD is helpful because there are interviews with eight different expats who live in Granada. They talk about everything from cost of living to safety and healthcare, from transportation to recreation and culture.

Some of the expats own their own homes and others rent, some have a car and others don’t, so because of that variety you can get a good idea of what it’s actually like to live there.

I think the expats spoke openly and honestly about what it’s like to live in Granada.

Life in South or Central America is different in a number of ways than life in North America. This DVD covers some of those differences very well which is important to anyone considering a move.

Live or Retire in Granada Nicaragua: Video

Seeing Granada and Surrounding Area

There is a nice bit of footage showing the countryside, homes, hospital, marketsrestaurants, and parks. This can also give you an idea of what it’s like to be there and what there is to do.

I found it interesting to see the landscape and natural beauty. I also learned new things about Granada and its culture.

This hour long DVD may help you make Granada a destination for a future visit, or it may help you rule it out and look into other areas. Either way, if Granada is on your list this video would make a good investment.

Have you seen the video? Have you been to Granada, Nicaragua?
