Weekly Photo – Cotopaxi Volcano Ecuador By Air

Posted in: Ecuador Travel, Quito Ecuador

Last week, on our return flight from Quito, we were hoping to see some volcanoes – or the tops of them at least. Here is a great shot of the view we had of Cotopaxi Volcano – it was a perfect volcano-watching day. We saw two others, but neither was nearly as impressive as this one.

On a side note, we thought we would try something a little different. Most of the photos we use here are photos that we’ve taken. But some (just a few, I promise) are stock photos. Ones that we purchased from an online stock agency. Well that’s a little bizarre for a couple of photographers, right? Well, we decided to share some of our best and most interesting shots in a weekly photo feature called: Weekly Photo (predicable, I know). And here is the first: The humongous Cotopaxi Volcano.
