We found an intriguing jewelry shop downtown Cuenca that I thought I should share, because who doesn’t like some new jewelry now and then?

I really like Argo Joyeria because it’s not the average jewelery store, it’s bright, cheery and the jewellery is very unique.

Everything in the store is handmade, and they say that if you have an idea, just bring it to them and they’ll work with you so that you’ll soon be wearing around your one of a kind creation.

We’ve been told by many people that it’s not safe to wear gold here so we had custom silver bands made to replace our gold wedding bands, mine was $10 dollars, and Bryan’s was $18.

They said that the bands would be ready the next day, but we weren’t going to be back for a week, and that was fine.  They just asked for half the money upfront and the rest when we picked up the rings.

When we went back the bands were waiting for us.  We’re very happy with them; they fit perfectly because they were made- to- fit.
